CONCRETE BATHTUBS

In this project i had connected two great desires of mine in the design world, bath tubs and concrete.
I worked in a large scale manufacturing method trying to create as many tubs as i can, bathtubs for people who love to indulge themselves while cleaning from the day.
I would have love to create bathtubs in a 1:1 scale but the logistics had made it impossible for me, so i worked in a scale of 1:12, thanks to that i had almost complete  freedom of action regarding form.
On account of the reduced scale i had successfully cast a varied serie of small bathtubs.
I had explored positive and negative of basic forms such as a circle a square and a rectangle and with different compositions i had obtained a variety of bathtubs.
It was interesting to me to see how a concrete bathtub can fit in the landscape of the house., how the matter lives with a mass of water and how it changes,  In our 1:1 scale life they are used as pot plants for the garden and the concrete changes with the weather.
